Inaugural Alpha Cookout To Benefit Githens Middle School in Durham, North Carolina

North Carolina makes headway with the largest cookout the state has ever seen. There will be a state-wide cookout involving all of NC's 42 Alpha chapters. This cookout is community service driven where they will be collecting school supplies for a local middle school and lightly worn clothing for the Mattress Firm Foster Kids Foundation. They will also be holding voter registration as well.

The event will take place July 30th at Twin Lakes Park in Durham, NC from 2-6pm. Music will be powered by DJ KGrady which he is ranked the #1 HBCU DJ in the country.
