Madison Scott Drafted 14th Overall by the Dallas Wings in the 2025 WNBA Draft

In a momentous event for both collegiate basketball and the sisterhood of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Madison Scott was selected 14th overall by the Dallas Wings in the 2025 WNBA Draft. The draft took place on April 14 at The Shed at Hudson Yards in New York City.

Scott, a 6’2” forward from Indian Head, Maryland, concluded an illustrious five-year career at the University of Mississippi. Her accolades include being named SEC Freshman of the Year in 2021, First Team All-SEC in 2024, and earning spots on the SEC All-Defensive Team in both 2023 and 2024. She averaged 11.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game over her collegiate career.

Her selection by the Dallas Wings marks a significant addition to the team’s roster, which also includes top pick Paige Bueckers. Scott’s versatility and defensive prowess are expected to make an immediate impact in the WNBA.
