Jalen Baker became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. at North Carolina Central University by way of the Gamma Gamma in the Spring of 2012. In celebration of his 26th Birthday, he will be awarding $1,000 to a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in college, who currently has between a 2.5 and 3.5 cumulative GPA while exhibiting outstanding contributions to his or her community. To enter, one must post a 1 minute video with tangible evidence of their work( i.e. pictures and video clips) on their Instagram account utilizing the hashtag #JRBScholarship19, and tag Jalen’s Instagram account, @PresidentJalen. In addition, one must also submit an application accompanied by their unofficial transcript. Deadline to submit is February 20th, and the winner will be announced on his birthday, March 5, 2019.
